Founded in 1910, Brooklyn Botanic Gardens is a 52 acre urban sanctuary with of 10,000 different types of plants from all over the world. There's always something different in bloom depending on what month it is, giving the park a dynamic element. . In early summer the Cranford Rose Garden displays a seemingly endless amount of roses in bloom which cascade up arches, lattices and other beautifully appointed elements of the garden.
The garden has long been an attraction for tourists, locals, and students looking to put their classroom knowledge to work in real life.
